In Part 1, Bala Das begins by leading a beautiful meditation to help relax and focus the mind. Many people feel intimidated by meditation or feel their meditation experience is unsuccessful and this is generally because we have heard that we are meant to empty the mind of thoughts. The method taught by Bala Das is mantra meditation where a person simply places their attention on the sound of the transcendental mantra. This meditation is very simple and easy to practice.
