The Culture of Knowledge

The wise have explained that one result is derived from the culture of knowledge, and that a different result is obtained from the culture of ne-science.

This quote from the Vedic literature, Sri Ishopanishad, mantra 10 refers to the importance of basing a society/culture on real spiritual knowledge. A community that is based on ignorance of spiritual identity will only lead to problems. It is only when leaders understand that all living entities are not the material bodies we perceive, but are eternal spiritual sparks, can a society be successful.
